Meeting the Needs.
Eb and Janelle Flomo saw the need for rural Liberians to attain gainful employment and at the same time, heard there would be a world-wide cocoa shortage. The Flomos decided to purchase 200 acres of farm land to begin a cocoa farm in Gbonyea, Lofa County, Liberia to meet both needs.

Meet Korto, one of our professional caretakers on our farm. She is a mother who loves her son and pours that same energy into caring for our zero-inorganic input, premium cocoa for EJ Flomo Cocoa.

Managing with Customers in Mind.
Meet Annie, our beloved farm manager who brings a wealth of experience in cocoa farming and in capacity building. She is committed to maintaining healthy trees and soil, and producing premium cocoa through proper fermentation and drying. Annie trains our employees and partners and ensures consistency and sustainability for EJ Flomo Cocoa and our outgrowers.
